Assessment Centres

At VWA Consulting, we design Assessment Centres for a diverse client base including multinationals and boutique companies. Our aim is to predict the future performance of a candidate in the role and enable clients to hire those who will be most successful. Candidates leave our centres with a positive and fair impression of the hiring organization and their recruitment process.

The first stage in our approach is to identify the criteria or competencies that will allow us to predict how well potential candidates will perform in the role. Once we know the criteria we use a range of exercises and methods to reliably and accurately assess each candidate against each criterion.

These tools may include individual or group job simulation exercises, role plays, interviews and psychometric tests. Using a number of different methods generates a comprehensive and accurate picture of the strengths and weaknesses of a candidate against each criterion. This provides clients with an insightful, rigorous and fair way of comparing candidates before making a final decision.
