To start the process we first get a detailed insight into their strengths, areas for development, motivation and barriers to success. To do this accurately and rigorously, we use a range of well validated tools such as psychometric tests, structured interviews and 360 degree feedback. Once we have done a thorough analysis we provide the employee with detailed feedback to boost self awareness and motivation to change. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their own development process by formulating a Personal Development Plan that outlines key areas for development, specific goals, timelines and actions to take. Once this has been established we are able to coach the individual against the PDP and/or suggest alternatives such as mentoring, training and action learning. |
