Development Centres

Development Centres devised by VWA Consulting enable clients to improve the business performance of their employees by identifying strengths, areas for development and boosting self awareness.

Clients have used our Development Centres to:

  • Develop the skills of existing employees against a set of desirable competencies.
  • Provide employees with a fair and structured platform for their future development.
  • Benchmark employee performance during a restructuring process.
  • Highlight employees for succession planning and promotion.

Our development centres use the same methodology as the assessment centres, with a few important differences. We design our development centres in such a way as to foster greater self insight during the day itself.

Employees participating in our Development Centres receive detailed feedback and a development plan with the aim of increasing insight into strengths and areas for development. Our Centres are designed in a way to boost employees’ acceptance of the feedback and motivation to achieve their development goals.

We are then able to follow up the development centre with focused performance coaching and tailor made workshops designed to develop key behaviours that lead to success within the organisation.
