The resulting financial impact is a growing concern for many companies. The causes of stress are multifaceted and are usually a combination of both organisational and individual factors. Here at VWA Consulting we are able to work with individuals to better help them to cope with stress at work. Stress results from an interaction between the objective demands from the environment and how each individual interprets and copes with those demands. Stress coaching helps individuals to recognize and change underlying thoughts and beliefs that lead to unproductive stress and anxiety. We also help individuals learn how to use effective coping strategies such as building levels of assertiveness and time management skills, which can enable them to better deal with stress. We are also able to train groups of individuals to deal with stress more productively. |
